Product Detail

Background

Ultrasonic assisted extraction (UAE) utilizes 20-40 kHz high-frequency sound waves to induce cavitation effects in solvents - the instantaneous collapse of microbubbles produces local high temperature and pressure (up to thousands of atmospheres) and strong shock waves, thereby breaking plant cell walls and accelerating the dissolution of target components. When integrated with the vacuum decompression and concentration module, the equipment can achieve a closed-loop process of "extraction → filtration → concentration → solvent recovery", which is widely used in laboratory research and pilot production of functional ingredients in traditional Chinese medicine, health products, essential oils, and food

Ultrasonic assisted extraction and concentration equipment is a multifunctional integrated device that integrates ultrasonic cavitation wall breaking, low-temperature efficient extraction, and vacuum depressurization concentration. Compared with traditional boiling method, it can improve the extraction rate by 45-500%, shorten the time to 1/3-4/5, and maintain normal pressure and temperature throughout the process (usually 40-60 ℃). It is particularly suitable for the quality and quantity preservation extraction of active ingredients in thermosensitive traditional Chinese medicine.

Feature
(1) No need for high temperature. Without boiling at high temperatures, it does not damage certain medicinal ingredients in the material that are thermally unstable, easily hydrolyzed, or oxidized, thereby improving the efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine.
(2) Atmospheric pressure extraction, no danger, simple and easy operation, and convenient maintenance.
(3) High extraction efficiency. The extraction time is only one-third or less of the boiling and alcohol precipitation methods. The extraction is sufficient, and the extraction amount is more than twice that of traditional methods.
(4) Has broad-spectrum properties. Widely applicable, the vast majority of traditional Chinese medicine ingredients can be extracted by ultrasound.
(5) Ultrasonic extraction has little effect on the properties (such as polarity) of the solvent and target extract. There are many types of extraction solvents available for selection, and the target extract range is wide.
(6) Reduce energy consumption. Due to the fact that ultrasound extraction does not require heating or has a low heating temperature and short extraction time, energy consumption is greatly reduced.
(7) The processing capacity of medicinal materials is large, which can be doubled or multiplied several times, and there are few impurities. The effective ingredients are easy to separate and purify.
(8) The extraction process has low cost and significant comprehensive economic benefits.

Device Configuration
1. Ultrasonic generation system
Transducers: convert electrical energy into mechanical vibration, commonly designed with immersion or outer wall, with a power density of at least 1.5W/cm ² to prevent local overheating.
Frequency regulation: wide frequency range of 20-80kHz, suitable for different materials (such as low frequency for stems and high frequency for petals).
Power control: Industrial grade equipment can reach a power of 5-4000kW and supports pulse mode (on/off cycle) to reduce thermal damage.
2. Extraction and concentration module
Extraction tank
Material: 316L medical grade stainless steel, corrosion-resistant and compliant with GMP standards.
Structure: Equipped with mixing device (frame or blade type), heating interlayer (steam or electric heating), and temperature sensor.
Concentrating unit
Type: Scraper type concentrator (viscous material), rising/falling film concentrator (thermosensitive substance), or nanofiltration membrane system (energy-saving type).
Solvent recovery: Integrated vacuum depressurization system and condenser, recovery rate>95%.
3. Auxiliary system
Filtering device: Bag type or multi-stage centrifugal filter, separating extraction liquid and residue.
intelligent control
PLC automation: adjust ultrasonic parameters, temperature, and pressure.
AI optimization: Real time analysis of material characteristics using near-infrared spectroscopy, dynamically adjusting frequency and power (such as increasing peony stamen extraction rate by 17%).
Safety protection: explosion-proof design, over temperature alarm, sealed and anti volatile solvent leakage

Collaborative technology for concentration process
ultrasonic extraction equipment usually integrates extraction and concentration modules to form a closed-loop system:
Extraction stage
Medicinal herbs and solvents (water, ethanol, etc.) are treated in an ultrasonic reactor for 20-40 minutes, and the effective ingredients are released through mechanical vibration and cavitation.
Concentration stage
Vacuum low-temperature evaporation: The extraction solution is evaporated in a negative pressure environment (-0.05 to -0.09MPa) to lower the boiling point (such as 60 ° C) and reduce the loss of thermosensitive components.
Hot reflux design: The secondary steam is condensed and refluxed to the extraction tank to achieve solvent recycling and reduce solvent consumption.
Intelligent control: Real time monitoring of concentrated liquid status through viscosity sensors (such as "dripping into beads" standard), automatic adjustment of temperature and stirring speed

Application scenarios
Universities and research institutes: Optimization of small-scale process (such as using 40 kHz/500 W ultrasound for 30 min extraction in the compatibility study of eczema mixture);
Pharmaceutical company R&D department: multi variety, small batch extraction of traditional Chinese medicine (compatible with solvents such as methanol, ethanol, MCT oil, etc.);
Plant essential oil factory: Enrichment of low-temperature aromatic components from raw materials such as peony seeds, chili peppers, honeysuckle, etc;
Food and cosmetics industry: efficient extraction of thermosensitive active substances such as anthocyanins, tea polyphenols, collagen, etc.
