subcritical extraction of Oil refining,Oil processing equipment,Subcritical Water Extraction (SWE)
Product Detail
Description:
Subcritical low-temperature extraction technology uses subcritical fluids as the extracting agent in a sealed, oxygen-free pressure vessel. Based on the principle of like dissolves like for organic substances, the molecular diffusion process between the material to be extracted and the extracting agent during soaking allows lipid-soluble components in the material to transfer into the liquid extracting agent. The extracting agent is then separated from the target product through vacuum evaporation, ultimately obtaining the target product. (Critical extraction is a low-temperature, low-pressure, and efficient physical method)
The main advantages of subcritical extraction are as follows:
1. The extraction process is completed at room temperature, so the thermally sensitive components in oil and cake do not undergo thermal denaturation, allowing high-quality extraction and separation of proteins, pigments, medicinal materials, and volatile essential oils;
2. Low solvent consumption, with less than 8 kg of solvent used per ton of raw material processed;
3. Energy-saving, with 70% heat energy saved compared to conventional hexane extraction;
4. Compared to CO₂ supercritical extraction, it requires lower investment, has lower production costs, and allows for large-scale production;
5. The oil contains high levels of beneficial active substances for humans, such as squalene, vitamin E, and polyphenols.
The subcritical extraction pilot equipment consists of an extraction tank, evaporation tank, buffer tank, condenser, solvent circulation tank, compressor, vacuum pump, hot water tank, hot water circulation pump, control system, and other components. It is mainly used to simulate operations such as extraction, evaporation and concentration, solvent compression and liquefaction, and condensation recovery in large-scale oil production. This equipment can be used for the quality-preserving extraction and development of certain fat-soluble substances, and it can also help enterprises establish a complete set of parameters for industrial production. It is an ideal research and training device for universities, research institutes, and enterprises. This experimental device is available in various models, including conventional and ultrasonic types, with capacities of 10L, 20L, 50L, and 100L. Currently, this equipment is in use at many domestic universities, research institutions, and enterprises.
Subcritical Water Extraction (SWE) is a green extraction technology that uses water in a subcritical state (temperature 100-374°C, pressure 1-10 MPa) as a solvent. In this state, water's polarity, dielectric constant, and viscosity undergo significant changes, enabling it to effectively dissolve various organic substances, making it especially suitable for extracting heat-sensitive components such as plant essential oils, polysaccharides, flavonoids, and others. Compared with traditional methods, subcritical water extraction offers advantages such as high extraction efficiency, no organic solvent residues, and low energy consumption.
Characteristics and Applications of Alcohol Extraction
Alcohol extraction is a method that uses ethanol as a solvent, suitable for the separation and purification of fat-soluble components (such as alkaloids and terpenes). By adjusting the solvent concentration, temperature, and pressure, alcohol extraction technology can achieve highly selective extraction and is widely used in the preparation of active ingredients from traditional Chinese medicine. ...
