GMP certified polysaccharide extraction machine

Ultrasonic Extraction of polysaccharides is the use of ultrasonic waves to produce high speed, strong cavitation effect and stirring effect, which makes the cell wall of traditional Chinese medicine plants easy to break, and is conducive to the dissolution of polysaccharide. To improve the extraction effective.

Polysaccharide extraction machine is an industrial/laboratory equipment specifically designed to extract polysaccharides from raw materials such as plants, fungi, and marine organisms. It is widely used in industries such as medicine, food, cosmetics, and health products, and is the core equipment for the production of natural polysaccharide raw materials.

Basic functions
By using physical, chemical, or biological methods to efficiently separate polysaccharide components from raw materials while retaining their biological activities (such as immune regulation, antioxidant, hypoglycemic effects, etc.), high-purity and industry standard polysaccharide extracts are ultimately obtained.

Mainstream technology types
Ultrasonic assisted extraction type: using ultrasonic cavitation effect to destroy cell walls, improving extraction efficiency by 30% -50%, energy-saving and suitable for thermosensitive polysaccharides (such as Ganoderma lucidum polysaccharides and wolfberry polysaccharides).
Enzymatic extraction type: By using specific enzymes (such as cellulase and pectinase) to decompose the raw material cell wall, the extraction conditions are mild and the polysaccharide purity is higher, making it suitable for pharmaceutical grade production.
Supercritical CO ₂ extraction type: using supercritical fluid technology, no solvent residue, no pollution during the extraction process, suitable for high value-added polysaccharides (such as seaweed polysaccharides and chitin).

Extracting Processing :

1. Pre-treatment: Clean fresh mushrooms, remove impurities such as roots and inedible parts, and then slice or crush them.
2. Ultrasonic assisted extraction: The pulverized mushroom powder is mixed with water in a certain proportion, and the ultrasonic assisted extraction equipment is used to extract at a set temperature (such as 60 ° C) and time (such as 30 minutes). The cavitation effect of ultrasonic waves helps to break down the cell walls of mushrooms and release polysaccharides.

3. Centrifugal separation: After ultrasonic extraction, the solid residue in the extraction liquid is separated by centrifugation.

4. Alcohol precipitation: Add an appropriate amount of ethanol or other organic solvents to the extraction solution after centrifugation for precipitation, and the polysaccharide is insoluble in ethanol, so that it can be separated by precipitation.

5. Washing: The precipitated polysaccharide is repeatedly washed by solvents such as ethanol, acetone or ether to remove impurities such as protein and pigment.

6. Drying: The washed polysaccharide is dried by freeze-drying or spray drying and other methods to obtain polysaccharide powder.

Key considerations for equipment selection
Raw material adaptability
The cell structure and polysaccharide types of different raw materials (plants/fungi/marine organisms) vary greatly, and it is necessary to choose equipment that matches the extraction technology (such as enzymatic or ultrasonic extraction for fungal polysaccharides, and supercritical CO ₂ extraction for marine polysaccharides).
Production and scale
Laboratory/R&D scenario: Choose miniaturized and modular equipment, support small-scale trial production and process validation.
Industrial production: Choose continuous and automated equipment to support large-scale stable production and reduce labor and operating costs.
Compliance and Certification
Priority should be given to selecting equipment with CE (European Union), FDA (United States), and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) certifications for export or pharmaceutical grade production to ensure compliance.
Cost and Efficiency
Pay attention to the extraction efficiency (unit time output), energy consumption (water/electricity consumption), and maintenance cost (frequency of replacement of vulnerable parts) of the equipment, and prioritize selecting energy-saving equipment with "high yield+low energy consumption".

Core application scenarios
pharmaceutical industry
Extract polysaccharides with immunomodulatory, anti-tumor, and antiviral effects (such as shiitake mushroom polysaccharides and Yunzhi polysaccharides) for the preparation of injections, oral preparations, or biologics. Must comply with pharmaceutical grade production standards such as GMP and FDA.
Food and Health Products
Extracting functional polysaccharides (such as goji berry polysaccharides, ginseng polysaccharides, Tremella fuciformis polysaccharides) for use in functional foods or dietary supplements such as immune enhancement, blood sugar lowering, and blood lipid lowering, must comply with food grade safety standards (such as FDA, EFSA certification).
cosmetics industry
Polysaccharides (such as hyaluronic acid, trehalose, β - glucan) extracted for moisturizing, anti-aging and repair are used in the production of raw materials for high-end skin care products, facial mask, essence and other products, which need to meet the requirements of cosmetic grade purity and safety.
In the field of marine economy
Extracting marine polysaccharides (such as alginate and chitin) from seaweed and crustaceans for use in food additives, biomaterials, environmentally friendly materials, and other fields.

Typical industry application cases

a Health product company use our Polysaccharide extraction machine lines  : Tremella fuciformis polysaccharide freeze-drying process (large-scale production scenario)
Technical application: polysaccharide freeze-drying machine (our compamy BL-30f freeze-drying equipment)
Core pain points: traditional drying processes (such as spray drying and hot air drying) are easy to destroy the active ingredients of tremella polysaccharide, and the product is prone to damp and deterioration, with a short storage period.
Craftsmanship and Effect:
Preprocessing: Clean, soak, and remove impurities from fresh Tremella fuciformis to ensure the purity of the raw materials.
Extraction and purification: After crushing Tremella fuciformis, polysaccharides are extracted and purified through filtration and clarification to obtain a pure extraction solution.
Freeze drying: The extract is rapidly frozen at a low temperature of -40~-50 ℃, and then in a high vacuum environment of 30Pa, the water directly sublimates from the solid state to water vapor, achieving drying.
Advantages: The active ingredients of Tremella fuciformis polysaccharides, such as immune regulation and blood lipid lowering, are fully preserved. The stability of the product is improved, and the shelf life is extended to more than 18 months. The production efficiency is suitable for large-scale production and has become the mainstream process in the Tremella fuciformis polysaccharide industry
